CO2R offsets the carbon that your website produces

CO2R allows a company or an individual to reverse the effects of their carbon emissions from their computers, whether they are desktop computers, or the servers that run your website.

Generally, to publish your website, at least one server must be working 24 hours a day, consuming energy. By giving us the part number of your equipment, Co2R can calculate the electrical consumption over a full year and tell you the total amount of trees needed to reverse the effects.

Note: in order for your website to be published around the world, it would need to use many servers and other machines, such as routers, firewalls etc. Therefore, the actual carbon emissions is actually greater than it seems. But, CO2R calculates the carbon emissions to its simplest form, that is the equipment under your immediate responsibility. It is the responsibilityof all computer equipment owners, including networking and hosting companies (such as Bell, Videotron, etc) to voluntarily reverse their own carbon emissions.

When you reverse your carbon emissions, being 1 tree per server per year

     CO2R will :

• Provide you with a logo to display on your website.
• Allow you to dispose of your trees at your own discretion, provided that they are planted and properly maintained.
• To name you as a Zero Carbon client on our website for the duration of your carbon emissions reversal.
