Reducing carbon emissions is everyone's concern

When it comes to greenhouse gases, there is a tendency to place blame on our neighbors, or large corporations. But in reality, we all emit carbon. Our daily activities contribute to the increase in greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. Every day, the consequences of global warming have a direct effect on the food chain, our economy and society in general. Every time that we use electricity, gasoline, natural gas, oil or propane, we mark our planet with our carbon print. Reducing the source of these emissions is the most sensible and direct solution. Unfortunately, our modern lifestyle makes this difficult and that is something that CO2R understands.

CO2R proposes a simple and sustainable solution

The principle envisioned by CO2R for the last four years is quite simple : we calculate your estimated carbon footprint and plant enough trees to neutralize your carbon emissions. To date, CO2R has planted close to 859 000 trees and has sequestered approximately 107 375 tons of carbon.

Quebec and Ontario on the horizon

CO2R aims high by committing to plant one tree for each resident of Quebec and Ontario - that is 21,636,317 trees to counteract close to 2,579,540 tons of CO2

For clients who wish to plant one or more selected trees on their premises, CO2R will do our best to deliver the trees - even if it means getting a friend, volunteer or other qualified person to help! All other trees will be planted on the CO2R plantation sites.
